Waterco announces first Commercial Inverter pool heat pump

Engineered to boost efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer experience

25 November 2024 — Sydney, Australia — Global water treatment and pool equipment manufacturer Waterco Limited (ASX:WAT) has released its first commercial-grade inverter pool heat pump into the Australian market.

The Electroheat PRO 60kW Inverter Heat Pump is a high-performance, energy efficient solution engineered for commercial applications. “This 60kW commercial heat pump boasts exceptional heating power combined with advanced inverter technology, delivering precise temperature regulation and significant energy savings,” says Adam Shelley, Zane Solar and Heating Manager. “It is an ideal solution for commercial pool operators and aquatic centres, offering a host of operational benefits tailored to their unique needs.”

Key features of Waterco’s new Electroheat PRO 60kW Inverter Heat Pump

High heating and cooling capacity — powerful 60kW output ensures rapid heating, even in large pools, reducing downtime and ensuring optimal water temperatures year-round

Inverter technology — this allows the heat pump to adjust its power output based on the required heating load, optimising energy consumption and reducing operating costs

Energy efficiency — advanced design and inverter technology contribute to its high coefficient of performance (COP), resulting in reduced energy consumption and lower electricity bills. These are critical considerations for commercial operators managing high-volume usage

Reduced operational costs — the energy-efficient operation not only reduces electricity bills but also minimises wear and tear on equipment, extending the system’s lifespan and reducing maintenance costs

Robust construction — durable titanium heat exchanger and corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy cladding ensure long-lasting performance

“These features collectively enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience, making the heat pump a valuable investment for commercial pools and aquatic centres aiming for long-term sustainability and performance,” Shelley adds.
